It is still good to group similar tasks, but definitely not the best idea to jump from one unrelated task to another.       4. Work effectively for a defined period, then take a break.

Breaking your tasks into defined periods help to increase your productivity level, to be more concentrated on specific project and to keep distractions away. Set your timer and start your progress. Then take a break and continue.

      5. Change Location.

Location change helps. It can be another spot in the office, coffee shop, park or different room in your apartment/house.

      6. Start your work day straight from the task.

Noticed that if the work day is started straight from the task it increases the productivity outcome. I prefer starting from the heaviest or urgent tasks, as they usually are reflected on my internal state. If postponed or abandoned they become like heavy stones I have to carry until the task is finally done. So, I prefer to work through those first and always place them first in my list. 

      7. Establish time frames for email verification, otherwise you constantly will be distracted.

Email is another great distraction that can result zero tasks done at the end of the day if constantly verified. Decide on time frames that work best for you, stick with them and verify your email only during established time (of course an important email expected can be an exclusion from your regular email verification time frames). You may even  inform your colleagues and partners that these are your email verification time blocks and if anything extremely urgent requires your attention there is a phone number available. 

  It is a way harder to stay focused in our days, but you can find and work out a routine that works best for your specific situation. Technique that will help you to overcome distraction weaknesses and eventually STOP LETTING DISTRACTIONS THAT HOLD YOU BACK.
