I really want to share this Vegan Red Beans Spread Recipe with everyone, because it is super delicious, nutritious and I find it as a great meat substitute in my wraps. This kind of wraps I call “snack wraps” and in my personal moving towards vegetables based life style these are great companions.

On my first attempts to become vegan I did a lot of mistakes. And honestly I started it a bit unprepared. And by that that I mean:

a) I wasn’t stocked with essential ingredients

b) I wasn’t stocked with enough recipes.

And by not enough recipes I mean variety from ingredients and time frame prospective. My set of vegan recipes consisted mainly from complicated ones and after a while I simply became EXHAUSTED and gave up. But luckily, I didn’t gave up totally. I strongly believe that one day I will proudly say that at least 90% of my daily ration is plant based.

 Vegan Red Beans Spread Recipe is one of those treasures in my recipes box. It is easy and Fast to do, it doesn’t cost you and an arm and it is indeed delicious. One of my problem being vegan was that I wasn’t enjoying the food taste. Delicious recipes took forever to cook, but those quick ones were mainly tasteless for me. Lately, I discovered few fast and super delicious recipes and Vegan Red Beans Spread Recipe is one of them. A quick blend and you are done!

Equipment you will need is:

Food Chopper / Food Processor

Vegan Red Beans Spread Ingredients

Ingredients you will need are:

2 cups of Cooked Red Beans (cook them yourself or use canned ones)
Dried Garlic 1 tsp
Olive Oil 1 tbsp 
Dried Paprika 1 tsp
5 tbsp spoons water or fresh Lemon Juice

Optional ingredients to Garnish:

Green Olives 5-10 pieces
 Sun-dried Tomatoes 5 pieces
Fresh Basil Leaves
Pickled Hot Peppers (if you want to add a bit of spiciness)
Green Olives and Sun-dried tomatoes are optional, but to me, they are making this spread to become outstanding and not a boring one. So, if you have them handy, don’t hesitate to add.

Directions:

Add all  ingredients to a food processor and blend until well combined. You may adjust water or lemon juice quantities for desired consistency while blending.
And you are done! Now it is time to enjoy it!
Store Vegan Red Beans Spread in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
